Our jewelry includes a large array of high-quality natural stone. Our designers hand select the beautiful stones from specialty supplies and even the actual mines they were formed in at times.  The stones are then cut and shaped into amazing shapes that can then be designed into the beautiful pieces included in our Contemporary and Speciality collections.

Amazonite

(also called "Amazon stone") is a green variety of microline feldspar. The name is taken from that of the Amazon River, from which certain green stones were formerly obtained. Amazonite is a mineral of limited occurrence. Formerly it was obtained almost exclusively from the area of Miass in the Ilmensky Mountains, 50 miles southwest of Chelyabinsk, Russia, where it occurs in granitic rocks. High-quality crystals have also been mined from Pike's Peak, Colorado. Crystals of amazonite can also be found in Crystal Park, El Paso County, Colorado. It can also be found in the Morefield Mine in Amelia, Virginia and in Madagascar and in Brazil.

Amethyst

​Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz often used in jewelry. The name comes from the ancient Greek ἀ a- ("not") and μέθυστος mé ("intoxicated"), a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness. The ancient Greeks wore amethyst and made drinking vessels decorated with it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication. It is one of several forms of quartz. Amethyst is a semiprecious stone and is the traditional birthstone for February.

Brecciated Jasper is a stone of strength and vitality. It can be used to bring mental clarity and focus to a previously scattered event, experience or life in general. Brecciated Jasper removes negativity from any space, returning it to its original source.

Birdseye Jasper

Bird’s Eye Jasper is a form of Rhyolite. It allows one to see the bigger picture of a situation. Assists in communication bringing clarity to what is being said. A stone of protection, regeneration and general healing.Birds Eye Jasper is thought to be good for general non specific aches and pains. It is thought to be beneficial in treating disorders arising from the deterioration of the kidneys, spleen, liver, bladder and stomach and to help in balancing the mineral content of the body. Birds Eye Jasper, like all Jaspers, is a sustaining stone and can help when extended periods of hospitalisation are necessary.

Chrysocolla

Chyrsocolla is first and foremost a Stone of Communication. Its very essence is devoted to expression, empowerment and teaching. The serenity of its turquoise-blue color discharges negative energies, calms, and allows truth and inner wisdom to surface and be heard. A peaceful stone, it emphasizes the power our words and actions have on those around us, and encourages compassion and strengthening of character.

Chrysocolla is a copper stone, ranging from light green to deep blue, and is often found in association with Malachite and Azurite. Some chrysocolla contains Cuprite. It is favored as a stone of prosperity and business astuteness, reacting upon the analytical and intuitive abilities. Like a balance scale, it can stimulate the mind and relax emotions at the same time.

Fluorite

Fluorite is believed to promote spiritual and psychic wholeness, protection, and bring peace. It helps one meditate and learn to go past the noise that may be present in their minds. Deeper meditation can give access to truth, attune to spirit guides and animal totems. This energy can be used to manifest one's life purpose.

Goldstone

Goldstone is a type of glittering glass made in a low-oxygen reducing atmosphere. Kingman Turquoise

The Kingman Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest and highest producing Turquoise Mines in America. It was originally discovered by prehistoric Indians well over 1000 years ago. Kingman Turquoise is known for its beautiful sky blue color and produces many variations of blue Turquoise. The Kingman Turquoise mine also produces green Turquoise from the Turquoise Mountain side of the mine. Kingman Turquoise has been the biggest supplier of Turquoise to the Southwestern Turquoise Jewelry industry for nearly as long as the American Turquoise Jewelry industry has existed. In fact, the Kingman Turquoise mine was once part of a Turquoise boom around 1000 AD when the Mayan culture was using a lot of Turquoise for self adornments and ceremonial items. Today, as in the old times, blue Turquoise from Kingman, Arizona is king, even though the mine produces all colors of Turquoise and green Turquoise is almost becoming blue Turquoise's equal in popularity these days.

Obsidian

Sowbelly Agate

Agate is the name given to numerous varieties of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. Its name comes from the Achetes River in Sicily, where Agates were first found. Usually banded in layers, or stripes, some varieties have "eye" markings, or specks of color, some have fossilized inclusions, and others are solid. Called the earth rainbow, the concentric bands of Agate form in nearly every color the earth can produce, including a colorless form.Historically, Agate has been discovered with the artifacts of Neolithic people, and was used as healing amulets and ornamentation dating back to Babylon. Its medicinal uses continued through the ancient Greek and Egyptian civilizations, and spread throughout Africa and the Middle East into Russia. Agate sparked a world renowned stonecutting and polishing industry in Germany that flourished from the 15th to the 19th century, and exists today.

Tigers Eye
